1. I will not be held hostage in my own country.
Not now. Not ever. If you want a list of the reasons I am voting for Donald Trump, you can start with that. I do not respond well to threats. The implied and sometimes stated promise that all this ends if we, the great unwashed will only vote right way just serves to piss me off. Screaming in my ear with a bullhorn will not change my mind. Telling me, “vote for Kid-toucher Biden and no one gets hurt,” does not work. Because I still love America.
Violating rules we’ve abided by for 7,000 years won’t convince anyone.
Stealing food and drinks from my table won’t do it. Gesticulating like an ape doesn’t make me want to listen to you either. The insurrectionists burning down our cities are not getting their point across. They are merely demonstrating their own savagery. And whatever side the savages are on, you’ll find me on the other. It’s really that simple.
2. President Trump Fights Back.
I still have a certain amount of admiration for George W. Bush. Like Reagan before him, our 43rd president could never bring himself to hate his political enemies. In office, W was calm, centered, and clearly a peace with himself, even as our nation endured enemies within and enemies without. W endured more slings and arrows than I ever thought possible. That was years before July 2015, and Donald Trump’s famous ride down the escalator. To understand Trump’s voters is to understand what they’ve put up with. It’s to get inside the heads of those who string power lines in the dead of winter, those who put hammer to nail, and pump fuel into the tank.
Infinite tertiary reasons I am voting for Donald Trump.
Up and down the supply chain, and throughout the infrastructure, the people who make it work have had enough. Enough contempt form those who purport to rule us. Enough dismissal. Of being told they are the problem. Enough of “their” side abiding by Marquee of Queensbury rules, while the Democrat leadership and the Marxists (is there a difference anymore?) understand that this is a street fight. We need to forget civility, politeness, and “decorum.” Such niceties are wasted on reprobates. Trump clearly understands this. It’s refreshing.
3. China
The betrayal of the American People by our leaders from both sides of the aisle is astounding. China has been engaged in a trades war with the United States for decades. Opening up our market for pillaging did nothing to democratize the People’s Republic. Detente only works if both sides get something. American business and American workers cannot compete with slave labor, and should not be asked to do so anymore.
Trump’s term so far has served to check some of China’s totalitarian ambitions, strategically and economically. Far too many leading politicians, have been in bed with them for decades sometimes covertly, often overtly. For other reasons I am voting for Donald Trump, keep reading.
4. I will not reward the party of rioting, looting, and mayhem.
Rewarding tantrums will only get you more tantrums. One only has to look at the Long March through our nation’s institutions. Granting a Leftist what he or she wants only gets one reaction from them. It’s not “thank you.” It’s “more!” Every. Single. Time. Americans understand that you don’t change that level of moral deficiency with a low unemployment rate or a booming stock market. Forget persuasion. America has cancer in the form or Leftist ideology. We can still excise this cancer from the body through the ballot box.
5. The Russia Hoax.
Can I add anything to this? Even mentioning it is boring. So, I’ll just mention it.
Bonus Reason. Promises Kept.
Donald Trump has acted on his campaign promises with astounding good faith. That’s what a lifetime of actually having to deliver gets you. He moved the embassy to Jerusalem, cancelled the disastrous Iran Deal, took the shackles off the American Economy, cut taxes, appointed constitutionalists to the judiciary, and protected the religious liberty of ALL Americans. Oh, and as of this writing, construction of the wall on our southern border totals 341 miles.
